I know the cyrillic alphabet but unfortunately cannot speak more than a few words of Russian.

Can someone tell me what the 4 notes on the left map say and the note on the top left map says? Especially what is the number 589 near Cелец-Xолопебв? Both maps have it but it is not mentioned in the text. I can figure out the names of towns and rivers but the notes are too much

589 пп stands for 589 infantry regiment (German).
